Financial Education

With Financial Education in the Workplace moving higher up the agenda as a topic to be addressed, ifs ProShare undertook research in Autumn 2006 to ascertain the current position.

The aim of the research is to discover the extent and character of employee financial education within the FTSE350. Where financial education is not provided, the aim is to identify reasons for non-provision. The research will be conducted via telephone interviews with HR/training managers.

The research findings will be used as a foundation for ifs ProShare's own programme of raising awareness of, and addressing, this issue.
