ifs Proshare

Research

ifs ProShare supports its lobbying activities by undertaking a number of research projects each year. Our annual SIP (Share Incentive Plan) and SAYE (Save As You Earn) research investigates the usage of these plans and monitors changing trends in the popularity of the plans, use of design features, participation levels etc.

In Spring 2007 we undertook research to establish to what extent employers were providing Financial Education in the Workplace for their staff, what was being offered and how it was being delivered. The result of this research underpins the work we are doing through our WoFEd initiative.

A summary of our research findings is generally available. The full reports are available to ifs ProShare members only.

Other ad hoc pieces of research are undertaken as appropriate.

We work closely with HMRC whose annual statistics into the usage of employee share plans are drawn from the returns submitted by companies operating plans.
